Video: Tonto Dikeh holds deliverance prayer for schoolgirl during evangelism outreach

By Adegboyega Adeleye Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has shared another episode from her faith journey and spiritual transformation, recounting how she prayed for a schoolgirl she believed was under a “spirit of death” during an evangelism outreach. In a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, the actress narrated how the incident occurred shortly after she and her team concluded an evangelism exercise at a school. According to Dikeh, she sensed a troubling spiritual presence around the environment, prompting her and members of her team to begin praying. View this post on Instagram “Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life. I was delivered from the marine world so that I may become an instrument in His hands to deliver others,” Tonto wrote. She further explained:“As we were driving out after our evangelism at the school today, I suddenly sensed a spirit of death hovering around the environment. I immediately shared this with my team, and we began to pray. In less than two minutes, a young girl ran up to me and asked that I pray for her. Her friends encouraged her to speak, and she shared that she had been seeing bats appearing around her repeatedly.” The actress said they prayed for the student and believed the situation was resolved spiritually. “We began to pray, and the Holy Spirit took over. The presence and glory of God filled that moment. The spirit of death was confronted, the demonic attack was broken, and God’s power brought deliverance. To the glory of God, she was also one of the students who gave her life to Christ earlier, which made the work of God even more powerful and timely. My team and I will be following up with her as the Lord continues His work in her life.” Dikeh, who recently said she no longer wishes to be addressed as “King Tonto Dikeh” but prefers to be known as an evangelist, added that the experience marked only the beginning of what she described as God’s work in her ministry. She also expressed appreciation to her spiritual mentors, including Jerry Eze and Eno Jerry. “God is only just beginning with us as a team. As the Word says: ‘Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.’” “I want to sincerely honor and thank my spiritual father and mother @realjerryeze @enojerry22 for raising radical soldiers for God, women who are changing the narrative and advancing the Kingdom of God against the kingdom of darkness. Papa, thank you for praying over and blessing the materials we used. God truly went before us, made a name for Himself, and His glory was revealed in our midst.” She concluded by saying the outreach recorded significant spiritual impact among the students. “All we can say is: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for everything You did today. Over 100 young champions gave their lives to Christ. God is reclaiming what belongs to Him — THE WORLD.”
