Speaking amid the recent Ngoshe attack in Borno’s Gwoza LGA, Tinubu declared: “Nigeria will prevail.” He reached out to Governor Babagana Zulum to share condolences, extending sympathy to Vice President Kashim Shettima, Borno residents, and the nation. Praising security forces’ sacrifices, Tinubu promised top priority on their welfare, better accommodation, and equipment. “This nation will always be grateful. Your efforts won’t be in vain,” he said. On the economy, he reflected: “We hit rough turbulence at the start, but we’ve stabilized. “Tinubu hailed the overlapping Ramadan and Lenten seasons as a divine call for unity: “Our diversity is strength. Interfaith peace lets us break bread together.” Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu reaffirmed the military’s “unalloyed loyalty” to Tinubu, thanking him for salary hikes, new gear, and housing. “We’ll defend democracy at all costs,” Shaibu pledged, urging public support.
