The approval, which takes effect from April 27, 2026, grants the officials a second and final four-year term, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Service Rule (PSR) 020909. Congratulating the officials on their reappointment, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, urged them to see the renewed mandate as a call to greater dedication and excellence in service delivery. She also encouraged them to leverage their experience and professional expertise to enhance the effective discharge of their responsibilities for the benefit of the nation. The announcement was contained in a statement issued on March 6, 2026, by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
