Raymond Ananenu II unveils new project

By Juliet Ebirim In a bid to boost rural development and agro-processing in local economies, Delta State-born entrepreneur, Raymond Ananenu II, is set to officially commission a new flour production facility in Delta State. The commissioning ceremony themed “From our soil to the world, transforming local harvests into global opportunities,” is scheduled to be held on March 16, 2026, in Ugbene Aboh and is expected to bring together stakeholders from agriculture, business, media, as well as community leaders from the host area. Speaking ahead of the event, Ananenu II, who is the Managing Director of Seven Computer Logistics Limited, described the project as the fulfilment of a long-held vision aimed at adding value to locally harvested produce. “This is an idea I have nurtured for several years,” he said. According to him, the decision to establish the facility in his hometown was influenced by the availability of agricultural produce in the area, adding that the project aims to connect local farmers directly with processing and distribution networks. Ananenu further reiterated his commitment to turning locally grown agricultural produce into products capable of competing in the global market. For Ananenu, the project which is developed by Seven Computer Logistics Limited, represents both a personal milestone and a practical effort to build on the agricultural potential of the region.
