By Samuel Oyadongha, Yenagoa The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Hon. Warman Ogoriba, has dismissed opposition parties’ hopes of an internal implosion in the party, describing it as a “pipe dream.” Ogoriba, who spoke during a call with the state and local government coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), led by Chief Tiwei Orunimighe, said the party’s recent congresses were the most peaceful and united exercises. He assured the RHA and other campaign organisations of the party’s support ahead of the 2027 elections, describing them as a “fuel station” for a successful campaign. He said: “We are operating an open-door policy and have started visiting stakeholders to ensure that the fold of the party is not open to acrimony. Those in the opposition dreaming that there would be an implosion within the APC before they can survive will be disappointed.” Ogoriba also assured the members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) and other campaign organisations in the state of the party’s support ahead of campaigns and elections in the state. He described the campaign organisations as a “fuel station” needed to drive a successful campaign and secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and other aspirants ahead of 2027. Ogoriba urged the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) and other political NGOs to be on top of their game, declaring that once the party and the NGOs work in unity, the party will win all elections with a landslide. “I urge you to support the process of building peace, unity, and oneness in the party.” Earlier in his speech, Orunimighe commended the newly elected party executive in the state for their readiness to accept NGOs and to create a viral partnership ahead of the 2027 polls. Orunimighe described the APC as the parent and the NGOs as the babies, as the party heads head towards the re-election campaign of President Bola Tinubu. He said, “As Ambassadors, we are ready to campaign for President Tinubu. And we are ready to campaign for President Bola Tinubu. The national instruction is for all NGOs to work with the party structures. And if we work and liaise with the party, the victory for the party will be massive.” “We just came to inform you and let you know that we have an office, and the party should not hesitate to call on us.
