CSP Giwa will be responsible for overseeing the Force’s digital communications and enhancing public engagement through online platforms. His appointment comes as part of the IGP’s ongoing efforts to modernize police communication and strengthen transparency with the public. This follows recent changes in the Force’s public relations team, including the appointment of DCP Anthony Okon Placid as Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
