By Demola Akinyemi Ilorin Member representing Edu/Moro/Patigi of Kwara state in the House of Representatives, Hon Ahmed Adam Saba has assured members of his constituency that he will continue to improve on his previous achievements in his untiring efforts to bring dividends of democracy to all and sundry. The lawmaker said this on Wednesday in Shonga, Edu local government area of Kwara state,while rendering his scorecard in the last two years to members of his constituency and an Empowerment program,while also marking his Forty Eight years birthday. According to him,”the need to improve on our efforts to empower our people cannot be overemphasized,we will continue to improve on our previous achievements. “This indeed is a challenge we can not ignore, because for decades many of our people have not been enjoying their fair share of the good things that accompany democratic governance,the present administration bold vision gave us the policy clarity, political will and the unwavering support to confront the barriers head-on and deliver transformative change.” He recalled that,”in the last two years,we have broken new grounds, commencing with the infrastructure development, agriculture, health, education,human capital development and many that are too numerous to mention.” He also said that,”at the 10th National Assembly,I have consistently pursued legislative actions and oversight functions aimed at promoting inclusive growth and national development, while ensuring that Edu/Moro/Patigi federal constituency remain visible and well re-presented. “Beyond the chamber,my office has worked closely with government agencies, development partners, traditional institutions and community stakeholders to attract meaningful projects and interventions that address pressing local needs.” He enumerated his achievements in the last two years, saying that,”this score card stands as a testament to our shared progress and collective resolve to build a more prosperous constituency.I am deeply grateful for the trust, cooperation and unwaivering support of the people of Edu/Moro/Patigi federal constituency,whose encouragement continue to inspire my service.’ Empowerment items distributed to members of his constituency at the event include 300 bags of rice,50 motorcycles,5 Tricycles,1 wagon tricycle and 5 Golf cars various food items among others. He noted that”the milestone is achieved through your collaborative efforts and support,we.will continue to work towards wealth creation, poverty reduction and better development of our constituency and the state in general.” He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for sharing the vision with him , adding that,”together we are not just building our community,we are building hope, opportunity and building a future for our people.That is our promise and that is the commitment we will continue to deliver today, tomorrow and for the generations to come.”
