Gunmen attack Jos North Community, kill several residents

By Golok Nanmwa, Jos Gunmen reportedly stormed Agwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Sunday night, killing an unspecified number of residents. Eyewitnesses said the attackers invaded the community around 7:30 p.m., firing bullets indiscriminately and causing widespread panic. Residents struggled to identify the victims, and the exact death toll remains unknown. According to reports, the gunmen operated for several minutes before fleeing the scene. Efforts to obtain a response from the Plateau State Police Command were unsuccessful, as calls to the Police Public Relations Officer, Alfred Alabo, could not be reached at the time of reporting.
