Ejeh lauds Oborevwori for appointing Kakor as Local Content Agency DG

The Convener of the Tino Support Group (TSG), Comrade Vincent Oghenero Ejeh, popularly known as Tino, has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing Olorogun Ese Kakor as the Director General of the Delta State Local Content Agency. Ejeh, in a statement, described as a politically strategic and development-driven decision by Governor Oborevwori. He congratulated Olorogun Ese Kakor on his “well-earned appointment”, stating that his emergence reflects years of consistent loyalty, grassroots engagement, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of good governance and inclusive development in Delta State. Ejeh commended Governor Oborevwori “for once again demonstrating visionary leadership through the placement of capable party men and technocrats in positions critical to the actualization of the MORE Agenda.” According to him, the Governor’s approach to governance anchored on merit, political balance, and grassroots inclusion,continues to strengthen the ruling party and deepen public confidence in government. He emphasized that the Delta State Local Content Agency remains a key economic instrument for driving indigenous participation, protecting local interests, and ensuring that Deltans benefit directly from investments and projects executed within the state, particularly in oil-producing and host communities. He noted that with Olorogun Ese Kakor at the helm, the Agency is poised to experience a renewed focus on transparency, accountability, and people-oriented policies. The TSG Convener further stated that the appointment sends a strong political signal to party faithfuls and grassroots mobilizers that dedication, loyalty, and service to the people are recognized and rewarded. He described Olorogun Ese Kakor as a bridge between government and the grassroots, whose leadership style will foster peace, unity, and sustainable economic growth across the state. Ejeh also reaffirmed the total support of the Tino Support Group for the Oborevwori administration, stressing that the group remained committed to mobilizing grassroots support for the Governor’s policies and programmes across the wards and local government areas of the state. He wished Olorogun Ese Kakor a successful, impactful, and people-focused tenure, expressing confidence that he would significantly advance local content development, youth empowerment, and economic inclusion in Delta State.
