Nigerian football administrator Samson Adamu has made history, being appointed as the acting Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football, marking the first time a Nigerian has held the position since the body’s founding in 1957. The appointment was confirmed on Sunday during a CAF congress held at the Giza Palace Hotel, Cairo, following the resignation of Veron Mosengo-Omba, the Swiss-Congolese official who stepped down from
