President Bola Tinubu has approved the deployment of 65 ambassadors to their respective host countries, months after their nominations were confirmed by the Senate in December. Among the high-profile postings are former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri, who has been assigned to Mexico, and ex-aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode, who will represent Nigeria in Germany. The former military administrator to Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok Ette-Ibas is posted to Philippines, former governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu is the non-career ambassador to Spain and former governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is posted to Greece. The former minister of interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau is posted to China, Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu is posted to Isreal, Paul Adikwu to Vatican City, while Senator Jimoh Ibrahim is the UN Permanent Representatives.
