Big Chinni serenades with “Double Love Dose”

By Ayo Onikoyi Nigerian singer Oluchi Anyikaeme Faith, popularly known as Big Chinni, is turning up the romance this season with the release of her new two-track project titled Double Love Dose. The project, which features the songs “Baby Yo” and “Ololufe,” was released on February 13, strategically timed to usher in the Valentine’s Day celebration. Speaking on the inspiration behind the project, Big Chinni explained that the songs go beyond romantic affection and embrace love in its broadest sense. “My new songs ‘Baby Yo’ and ‘Ololufe’ were my own way of preaching love, not just the intimate kind of love but love that extends to friends, family, colleagues, siblings and parents. Love songs for both the young and the old,” she said. She noted that the Valentine’s season provided the perfect backdrop for the message she intended to share. “The release on February 13th as ‘Double Love Dose’ ties perfectly into the Valentine’s season to spread this message of love when people are most open to it,” she added. Currently signed to Bankerz Musik, Big Chinni described her journey with the label as rewarding and growth-driven. “My experience at Bankerz Musik has been amazing. I have been with the creative body for over a year, so I learn every single day in the studio. Bankerz Musik has and is pushing me to stardom,” she said. The singer also revealed the depth of her work ethic, noting that she has recorded over 60 songs so far. “I have like over 60 songs recorded, so you see the learning, support, and the whole team is a vibe,” she said
