Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the state stands in solidarity with his administration. Soludo made the remark in a message posted on X on Sunday to mark Tinubu’s 74th birthday, where he praised the president’s leadership and reform agenda. “Today, we celebrate a leader of courage and political sagacity. Your ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ and bold economic reforms, from subsidy removal to exchange rate unification are the tough but necessary steps required to secure a prosperous future for all Nigerians,” he said. The governor noted that difficult policy decisions are often essential for long-term national progress, stressing that leadership goes beyond short-term approval. “True leadership isn’t about seeking temporary popularity; it’s about the visionary choices that build a resilient nation,” Soludo stated. He further affirmed Anambra State’s alignment with the federal government’s direction, expressing readiness to collaborate for national development. “Anambra State stands in firm solidarity with your administration as we work together toward a stronger, more united, and economically vibrant Nigeria,” he added. Soludo also offered prayers for the president, wishing him continued strength and guidance in office. “May God grant you continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance,” he said.
