AGN honoured at The Compatriots Newspaper launch

By Benjamin Njoku The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) received a special recognition award at The Compatriots Newspaper unveiling in Lagos, for its contributions to Nigeria’s film industry and promoting professionalism, creativity, and cultural development through Nollywood . The event,held at the NERDC Conference Center, Ikeja, Lagos, drew dignitaries, media practitioners, and stakeholders, celebrating excellence in media and entertainment. AGN Lagos, led by Acting Chairman High Chief Funmilayo Ikubuwaye Mary Edward, attended with key executives, including Public Relations Officer Ambassador Cornell Udofia, Emmanuel Onyika (MC Senator), Prince Tunde Shado, and High Chief Oby Express. The award recognized AGN’s contribution to Nigeria’s film industry growth and its commitment to promoting professionalism, creativity, and cultural development through Nollywood. AGN members appreciated the recognition, noting it encourages the entertainment industry’s positive societal contributions.
