A faith-based publication, The African Observers, powered by SEMACO Foundation, has highlighted seven Nigerian pastors whose marriages are regarded as enduring and exemplary within the Pentecostal and charismatic Christian community. The report, released on Tuesday, recognized the clerics not only for their ministries but also for long-standing unions characterized by commitment, mutual respect, and partnership. Notable couples on the list include: Enoch and Foluke Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, married since December 17, 1967—over 58 years together. David and Faith Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, married since the early 1980s, celebrating over four decades together. David and Peace Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, married in March 1996, with one son. Biodun and Modele Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, married for more than 25 years. Paul and Dr. Becky Eneche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, noted for their stability and public affection. Korede and Esther Komaiya, married for nearly three decades. Kingsley and Mildred Okonkwo of David’s Christian Centre, married for over 20 years, known for their relationship teachings. Other mentions included Jerry and Eno Eze of Streams of Joy International. The publication emphasized that while some high-profile pastors in Nigeria have experienced divorce or remarriage, the couples listed were recognized for long-term, first marriages that continue to be publicly celebrated within Christian circles.
