By Peter Oyedele, Abuja A support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organisation, has pledged to deliver over 10 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election. The group made the commitment during the commissioning of its new campaign office and the unveiling of six vehicles in Abuja on Friday. The vehicles are designated to support mobilisation efforts across the six geopolitical zones. Speaking at the event, the APC Head of Mobilisation and Support Group, Ambassador Salisu Yahaya Alfa, said the initiative was aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 elections. He noted that the vehicles would enhance the group’s capacity to coordinate activities nationwide and ensure effective voter mobilisation. Alfa also highlighted the administration’s achievements, including the disbursement of student loans, efforts to tackle insecurity, and policies aimed at improving Nigeria’s integration into the global economy. He added that the group is fully prepared to mobilise support across the country, leveraging its network of registered members to boost the President’s re-election bid. The Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organisation, a grassroots political support group, is focused on promoting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, voter education, and youth participation across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas. Also speaking, Director General of the APC Support Group Council, Sadiq Abubakar Jikta, described the initiative as a strong demonstration of commitment to the President’s second-term ambition. He said the addition of the vehicles would significantly improve outreach efforts and grassroots engagement nationwide. Jikta commended the group for its proactive approach, urging other support groups to emulate the initiative in strengthening the party’s mobilisation drive. Similarly, Director General of the Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organisation, Hon. Innocent Egede, said the project reflects the group’s commitment to nation-building and increased youth involvement in politics. He described the endorsement of the President as a vote of confidence in his leadership and ongoing reforms, stressing that collective effort is required to achieve national development. Egede also urged Nigerian youths to actively participate in the electoral process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and supporting the APC in the 2027 elections.
